The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has started uploading the names of students who have been offered admission to their school portal for the 2022/2023 academic session.
Recall that Naija Schools reported that UNILORIN submitted its admission list to JAMB for uploading to the JAMB CAPS (Central Admission Processing System). Now, students who have received admission to UNILORIN through JAMB CAPS can check their admission status on the university’s official website.
How to Check Admission Status on UNILORIN Portal
Here’s how to check your admission status on the UNILORIN portal:
- Go to the UNILORIN Applicant Portal at https://uilugportal.unilorin.edu.ng/putme_login.php
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname in the provide fields
- Once logged in, click on “Check Admission Status” in the sidebar menu.
- If you have been offered admission, you can proceed to pay the acceptance fee and complete the clearance process.
It’s important to note that you won’t receive admission on the school portal unless you have already been offered and accepted admission on JAMB CAPS. Candidates who have not been admitted yet should keep checking the JAMB site regularly for their admission status.
UNILORIN Acceptance Fee
UNILORIN has also activated the portal for accepting payment and clearance fees. If you have been offered admission on the school portal, you will need to pay a sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira Only (₦25,000) as an acceptance fee through the University’s portal.
Paying the acceptance fee is crucial to secure your spot and complete the necessary processes to begin your studies at UNILORIN. Remember to make the payment within the specified timeframe to avoid any issues.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, you can get in touch with the University’s admissions department or visit their official website for more information.
Congratulations to all the newly admitted students! We wish you success in your academic journey at the University of Ilorin! If you have not yet been offered admission, don’t lose hope! The admission process is still ongoing.
